In the upcoming Presidential election Donald Trump is running as a Republican. Trump officially announced his presidential candidacy on June 16 of this year. Earlier on in the race the polls did not show in favor for Trump. Recently there has been a turnaround for him. Polls have now been showing that he is one of the more popular candidates in the Republican Party. This drastic reversal was not expected by some, but others are glad that it is occurring.
The American citizens who are contributing to his rise in the poles seem to like how he talks about the issues in a more forceful manner, so the topic at hand does not get pushed under the rug so to speak. When Trump addresses a topic he does not tiptoe around it, but rather confronts it head on. The idea of having someone to vote for that does this is refreshing to some of the voters, which ultimately makes Trump an appealing candidate to support.
One topic Trump is notably vocal about is illegal immigrants making their way into the United States. Trump does not hid the fact that he is very much against this, quite the opposite actually. Many people in the Republican Party are in agreement with Trump on this subject, which is why more people are supporting him in his candidacy.
Those who find his popularity as a problem should make sure they make their vote count by actually voting first of all. Secondly, they should vocalize their concerns in a respectful manner. Sharing their opinions with others may lead to people changing who they are going to vote for. If someone is really unhappy with the current position Trump is in they should stand up for what they believe in and make their voice count.
